A Young Woman Engages In Abusive And Excessive Drinking And Receives Top Shelf Help At An Alcohol Rehab Clinic For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Alcoholism Symptoms
Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite stressed out lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking four or five martinis every night after she put her children to bed. After roughly three weeks of this drinking routine, she finally realized that instead of helping her "take it easy" and "manage" her issues, drinking made her feel less rested when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more tense all through the day. After thinking deeply about her circumstance for four or five days, Beth decided to "open up" about her problem drinking with her best friend. Indeed, about twenty-five minutes into their conversation, Beth's best friend Joslyn, mentioned that she knew about a very knowledgeable and competent doctor at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment facility. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got motivated to call the rehabilitation clinic and schedule an appointment.
Nine days later she finally got to meet the physician her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the physician that ever since her former husband and she divorced one another, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, psychologically, and spiritually.
As Beth was talking to the physician, she emphasized the point that she really believed that her former husband and she dated long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, however, their relationship seemed to deteriorate. What is more, both Robert and she started to drink, and their careless and irresponsible drinking negatively impacted their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.
The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her abusive and excessive drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the more common symptoms of alcoholism and that the most productive solution for this is alcohol rehabilitation.
After spending five months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to see that the real root of her tension and her depression was the fact that she had not laid to rest her acrimonious feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings distress her to such an extent that she became a person addicted to alcohol.
Armed with these insights and with the drugs her physician prescribed, she finally stopped drinking, she began to feel substantially less depressed, and she started making more time for social activities with her friends and family. Not only this but a few months after getting rehab from her physician, she even started to date once again.
It was obvious that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just around nine months after she terminated her counseling, Beth had finally laid the harmful thoughts of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel more complete and more spiritually"alive" and psychologically "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
