This helps as a reminder through-out the day to complete the simple stretching and repositioning that makes up the main part of low back ache exercise. The trainer explained that the main reason staff members were experiencing pain in their lower back was because of going from sitting in one position to lifting, without flexing the muscles. By completing the simple warming techniques the muscles are not strained and they will get rid of back pain. Also the stretching exercises different muscles than are made use of for sitting for a long time. The yoga instructor was available to come to the office two days a week during lunch to provide a low impact stretching class for individuals that wanted to participate. The class would take about twenty minutes. As incentive for participating I told my employees that those that participated in the low backache exercise class could leave 20 minutes earlier or come in 20 minutes later on that day.
By doing this straightforward incentive for carrying out low back ache exercise and getting rid of back pain, I have greatly reduced the number of hours my employees are out sick. My employees are also reporting that since they're completing the low back ache exercise program they have more get-up-and-go at the end of the work day. It is a great feeling for me as a manager to know I have helped my workers feel better.
