The Company Leaders Implement Several Programs In Order To Lower The Costs Linked To Poor Employee Work Performance
Christine is a fifty-four-year-old woman who is the director of the human resources department at a large electroplating company. In the last five months, Christine and the other VIPs launched a drug and alcohol testing program that is linked with their drug and alcohol abuse prevention program. In fact, Christine is the key individual in the company responsible for getting the message out to all the workers about the drug and alcohol testing program as well as the drug and alcohol abuse prevention program.
Another fairly recent enhancement to the drug and alcohol abuse prevention program is a class entitled "Alcohol Statistics and Facts." Even though every one of these health and preventative maintenance programs was quite costly, top management personnel feel that they are many thousands of dollars ahead by providing all of their workers with a safe, more productive, and healthy working situation.
